Greencastle Cemetery – Grave Decoration Policy

To preserve the beauty and sanctity of our cemetery grounds, please follow the rules below:

✦ Decoration Guidelines

• All flowers must be placed in plastic or wood containers.
  
  

• Glass containers, trinkets, candles, shepherd hooks, decorative stones, and border edgings are prohibited and will be removed.
  
  

• In-ground annuals, perennials, trees, bushes, and shrubs are not permitted.
  
  

• Decorations must not interfere with lawn care or maintenance.
  
  

✦ Maintenance Schedule

• All flowers will be removed on the 1st and 15th of each month for groundskeeping.
  
  

• Visitors are welcome to pick up and replace flowers before or after these dates.
  
  

✦ Grounds Rules

• No alcohol containers are permitted on cemetery property.
  
  

• Please use the trash cans placed throughout the cemetery to help keep the grounds clean.
  
  

• While every effort is made to protect decorations, Greencastle Cemetery is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
